Who it's for
Discover what your family is entitled to and make sure they can find everything they need.
Your family is protected if something happens to you.
Know exactly what to do and where everything is — without the scramble.
Law enforcement, fire, and EMS — your family deserves the same protection you give everyone else.
When a veteran or first responder passes, their family faces two crises at once — grief, and an overwhelming maze of documents, benefits, and decisions they were never prepared for.
Most families miss benefits they're entitled to simply because they didn't know to ask.
Critical documents — DD-214, insurance policies, VA letters — are scattered or missing.
Without a Guardian designation, families are left searching at the worst possible moment.
Life Sentinel changes that.
A few hours of preparation today can spare your family weeks of confusion. Life Sentinel makes that preparation simple, private, and permanent.
Simple by design
Three steps. No technical knowledge required. Start today and finish at your own pace.
Tell us about your service, state, and family. Takes 5 minutes.
Upload critical documents to the encrypted vault, or simply record where each one lives. Designate your Guardian and complete your readiness checklist.
Your Guardian gets instant secure access when they need it. Your family knows exactly what they're entitled to and how to claim it.
Upload them to Life Sentinel’s encrypted vault, keep them in your own cloud drive, or just leave instructions on where to find them. The planning tools work either way.
What you get
An AI-powered, personalized summary of every federal and state benefit your family is entitled to after your passing — DIC, survivor pension, CHAMPVA, property tax transfers, education benefits, burial benefits, and more.
Every critical document — DD-214, insurance policies, wills, VA award letters — securely stored and instantly accessible to the people you designate.
Your designated Guardian gets secure token-based access without needing an account — exactly when they need it most.
A mission-ready checklist so nothing gets missed and your family is never left guessing.
Built to be trusted
Your information is protected with AES-256 encryption — the same standard used by banks and the U.S. military. Only you and your designated Guardian can ever access your vault. We never sell or share your data.
The most secure document is the one you never upload.
Life Sentinel is designed to be useful even if you never upload a single file. Use our encrypted storage if it fits your needs, or keep your documents in your preferred cloud drive and use Life Sentinel to tell your family where to find them.
We will never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing this service to you and your family. Your vault is yours alone.

Common questions
No. Life Sentinel’s planning tools, benefits guidance, and Digital Estate sections all work without uploading anything. If you’d rather keep documents in iCloud, Google Drive, Proton Drive, or a safe deposit box, just record where they are so your family can find them.
A Guardian is a trusted person — a spouse, adult child, or attorney — who gets secure, time-limited access to your vault and readiness information when your family needs it. You don’t need to designate one to use Life Sentinel, but it’s one of the most valuable things you can set up.
Yes. The readiness score counts a document as secured whether you’ve uploaded it to the vault or recorded a location note describing where your family can find it. Many users prefer to keep originals in a fireproof safe or with an attorney and simply note that location in Life Sentinel.
It takes less than ten minutes to create your vault and add your first documents. The peace of mind lasts a lifetime.
